Unlike traditional fertilizer, the small particle size of NUTRIENCE™ can enter leaves and roots easiliy, making it less stressful for plants to optimize crop develoment with the need to use less fertilizer, leading to little or no leaching.

Traditional mineral fertilizers are chemical products that are more difficult for plants to absorb due to their composition and particle size. There is a significant portion of applied fertilizer being lost to the environment. Nitrogen leaching levels have seen an increase over time, from 32% in the 1960s to 53% in the 2010s.
